Does it work with my existing number? +
Yes, both paths use the number you already advertise. Conditional Forwarding leaves your SIM exactly as it is and only forwards the calls you do not answer. Same Number Everywhere moves the number itself into the cloud so the auto-text comes from the same number people dialled.
What happens to my SIM if I port? +
Once the number ports to the cloud, your old SIM stops serving that number. Your calls and texts then run through the GoHighLevel app on your phone. You keep the same number, the same contacts can reach you, and nothing changes for your customers. If you want zero change to your handset, choose Conditional Forwarding instead.
What if the port fails? +
Ports rarely fail when the paperwork matches your carrier records, which is why we validate the details before lodging. While a port is in progress your number keeps working normally, so there is no window where you are unreachable. If a port cannot complete, you stay on your current carrier and we fall back to Conditional Forwarding at no extra charge.
Can I cancel after porting? +
Yes. You own the number, not us. You can port it out to any other carrier whenever you like, the same way you would move between phone companies. There is no lock-in on the number.
Does it work with my existing GoHighLevel account? +
Yes. If you already run GoHighLevel or Skaffold, we build the Missed Call Text Back workflow inside your account. If you do not, the setup includes the number and the workflow you need to run it.
Is this part of Foundations, or separate? +
Separate. Missed Call Text Back used to sit inside the Foundations build. It is now a standalone add-on so you can bolt it onto a Foundations build, a Site Reboot, or an existing setup, without paying for a full build you do not need.
What does the auto-text actually say? +
Whatever you want it to. The default template is short and human: it names your business, says you saw the missed call, and asks how the team can help. You can tune the wording, and it can ask a qualifying question so the lead arrives with context.
Will my customers know it is me? +
With Same Number Everywhere the text comes from your own number, so it is unmistakably you. With Conditional Forwarding the text comes from a dedicated number, and the template names your business in the first line so there is no confusion about who is writing.
